SOUTH KOREA
South Korea – 2013
This trip was with a team of ministers from Dr. Bill Hammond’s ministry. The flight was two hours to Detroit, Michigan and from there it was an additional 14 hours. We took off from Detroit and had to go out over the lakes and drop fuel so we could return back to the airport due to some mechanical problems concerning the plane. We did fly out the next day with no issues.
South Korea is much different than the other third world countries. The cities are very modern. There are many bridges and high-rise buildings. The Han River flows through South Korea from North Korea. The river is noted for the North Korean’s killing Christians and throwing them in the river to wash down through South Korea.
The people were very friendly and enjoyed hosting the team. We ministered at a conference which was held in a Pastor’s church. We witnessed a number of people receive healing and deliverance, as well as, encouragement.
Many individuals sell fish and food on the streets; however, they have many restaurants like in the United States. They have shopping malls which are very busy and popular.
