GUATEMALA
Guatemala – 2012
The trip to Guatemala was with a group of six ministers. The flight was approximately eight hours total. We had a four-hour drive to the mountains where we ministered. We had accommodations at a local ministry center in an apartment.
Much of the ministry was conducted in small churches which were in the mountains. At the women’s meetings we presented food baskets to the ladies. The ladies presented us with hand made items that were done with embroidery and hand stitching. The people were very kind, respectful, and welcoming.
During the meetings, many receive miracles and healings. People there were full of faith because they have limited resources for medical attention. We would have to walk great distances in the dark up mountains to reach some of the churches. People walked for miles to attend. Pastors were encouraged as well as souls coming to know Christ.
We were blessed to assist in the breaking ground for a new church. Many of the churches remove furniture from their homes and have benches for the people to sit on while having service.
